劉芝瑄，臺灣作曲家，國立臺灣師範大學音樂系作曲碩士，師事陳瓊瑜教授；作曲曾師事胡宇君博士。小提琴師事呂佳旻老師、黃郁婷教授。2024年以管弦樂作品榮獲國立臺灣交響樂團青年音樂創作競賽首獎。
作品曾由國立臺灣交響樂團、灣聲樂團、醫聲室內樂團、師大音樂系弦樂團及斜槓醇弦四重奏等團體演出，亦與多位國內外傑出演奏家合作。曾參與多項國內外音樂節與工作坊，包括日本武生國際音樂節作曲工作坊並獲獎學金（2023、2024），期間接受 Hristina Susak 與 Hilda Paredes 指導、《以樂會客2.0》國際作曲家工作坊（2024）等。她的作品曾發表於亞洲作曲家聯盟日本川崎大會暨音樂節（2025）等。曾任北京大石詞曲版權簽約作者及聽好音樂配樂工作者。創作領域橫跨古典、流行及商業配樂，風格多元且富有想像力，並持續活躍於作品的創作、演出與發表。
除作曲外，亦於2019與2020年擔任長榮交響音樂營樂團首席，現為醫聲室內樂團小提琴團員。大學畢業於臺北醫學大學藥學系，目前為執業藥師。
現為亞洲作曲家聯盟、中華民國現代音樂協會（ISCM）台灣分會及璇音雅集會員。
Chih-Shiuan Liu is a Taiwanese composer with a master’s degree in composition from the Department of Music at National Taiwan Normal University, where she studied under Professor Chiung-Yu Chen. She has previously studied composition with Dr. Yu-Chun Hu and violin with Chia-Min Lu and Professor Yu-Ting Huang. In 2024, she won first prize in the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra Composition Competition with her orchestral work.
Her works have been performed by orchestras and various ensembles such as the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Onesong Orchestra, Physician’s Chamber Orchestra of Taiwan, Academy of National Taiwan Normal University Strings, and The Mellow Slashies String Quartet, as well as by distinguished soloists from Taiwan and abroad.
She has participated in numerous music festivals and workshops including the Takefu International Music Festival Composition Workshop in Japan (2023, 2024), where she was awarded a scholarship and received guidance from Hristina Susak and Hilda Paredes, and the International Composers Workshop organized in collaboration with the National Symphony Orchestra and the Hakka Affairs Council (2024). Her works have also been featured in concerts such as the Asian Composers League Festival and Conference in Kawasaki, Japan (2025).
Liu has worked as a contracted songwriter for Touch Music Publishing and as a composer for Aux Punch Music. Her creative output spans various genres including classical, contemporary, popular, and commercial scoring, with a style marked by diversity, imagination, and vivid contrasts.
In addition to composition, she has served as concertmaster at the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra Music Camp (2019, 2020) and is currently a violinist with the Physician’s Chamber Orchestra of Taiwan. She also has a parallel career as a pharmacist, with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Taipei Medical University.
She is a member of the Asian Composers League (ACL)– Taiwan, the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) – Taiwan Section, and Formusica.
